OCTOBER

Now that the weather is getting cooler, please check your child’s extra clothes to make sure they are seasonally appropriate. Make sure to label everything.

When dropping off or picking up your child, please make sure you do not block the driveway. There have been times when the owners need to leave and can not because they are blocked in. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated!

*If your child walks to Stoy, please make sure they have a raincoat or poncho with a hood for rainy days

*Remember to sign your child in and out EVERY DAY.

*Check your child’s cubby every day for important papers, notices, and their beautiful creations!

*Unfortunately, cold and flu season is rapidly approaching. If you have any questions regarding our illness policy, please ask Miss Allison or a teacher. If your child is going to be absent, please contact the school by 9:00 to let us know.

For Your Information:

Peanut allergies: We do have some children here with peanut allergies. Please be mindful when sending in "sharing snacks" that they be peanut free. Thank you!!!

A Few Reminders:

Lunch Bags: To avoid excessive locker congestion, please place your child’s lunch bag in the blue lunch bin. After lunch, it will be placed back in the blue lunch bin. Please make sure you get it at the end of the day.

Pick up time: Please remember that if your child stays for lunch but not for rest time, he/she needs to be picked up by 12:45.

Playground: Due to the nature of the playground surface, we are finding that it is prone to having holes made by high heeled footwear. We are looking to put a runner down by the door area, however if you are wearing high heels, please be mindful and refrain from walking across the playground surface. We will gladly retrieve your child for you. Thank you for your cooperation in the matter.

Notices: There are always extra copies of reminders, notices and permission slips hanging on the back of the sign-in clip board. If you misplace yours, you may get one from there.

LABEL, LABEL, LABEL!!!!! Please make sure to LABEL all clothing, along with everything else you bring to KK. Please make sure that your child’s footwear is appropriate and safe for outdoor playing, climbing, running etc. Sandals are ok as long as the toes are enclosed. Flip-flops are not appropriate for KK.

Please remember to sign your child in and out of school everyday and check their cubbies daily for stuff. Lunch boxes are located in the blue lunch bin.
