The Davis Family

H. Anita Davis founded Kiddie Korner in June of 1970. Her professional background began with 12 years of practical experience as both a pre-school teacher and administrator. In her capacity as owner, she is responsible for assuring that Kiddie Korner's philosophy and objectives are met as stated in our Handbook of Programs and Policies.

An advocate for children, Mrs. Davis served on the original task force for the NJ Dept. of Education, Health and Welfare to develop licensing standards for early childhood centers.

Mrs. Davis believes quality childcare occurs best within a small neighborhood school environment, therefore has refrained from expanding beyond Kiddie Korner's original facility. Since it's inception, Kiddie Korner has been the standard bearer for superior pre-school education by encouraging parents and staff to actively participate in the development of programs and policies.
