Some songs we love to sing in the

Summer time !

The Oval song lyrics:

The more we come together

The more we come together, together, together

The more we come together,

the happier we'll be.

'Cause your friends are my friends and my friends are your friends.

The more we come together the happier we'll be.

(The we let the kids pick...)

The more we.....sing, help, work, love together...

Itsy Bitsy Spider

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Went up the water spout

Down came the rain

And washed the spider out

Out came the sun that dried up all the rain

And the Itsy Bitsy spider went up the spout again.

Herman the worm

Chorus:

Sitting on the fence post,

Chewing my bubble gum (chomp, chomp, chomp)

Playing with my choo-choo (whooo-whoo)

And along came Herman the Worm

And he was this big (show small size with hands)

And I said "HERMAN, WHAT HAPPENED?"

He said, "I ate my brother." (cover your mouth)

Then repeat chorus with herman getting larger eating his: sister then mother then father...

At the very end you say:

Chorus:

Sitting on the fence post,

Chewing my bubble gum,

Playing with my choo-choo (whooo-whoo)

And along came Herman the Worm

And he was this big (show small size with hands)

And I said "HERMAN, WHAT HAPPENED?"

Herman said, " I burped."

Little Duckie Duddle

Ooooooo Little Duckie Duddle

Went Swimming in a puddle

A puddle, a puddle so small.

It doesn't really matter,

how much he splash and splatters.

He's only a duckie after all!

Quack! Quack! Quack!

Peanut

Peanut sat on a railroad track,

his heart was all a flutter.

Along came a choo-choo train,

Baby Bumblebee

I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee

Won't my mommy be so proud of me?

I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee

OUCH! It stung me!

I'm smooshing up my baby bumblebee

Won't my mommy be so proud of me?

I'm smooshing up my baby bumblebee

Oh! It's yucky!

I'm wiping off my baby bumblebee

Won't my mommy be so proud of me?

I'm wiping off my baby bumblebee

Now my mommy won't be mad at me!

So Clean!!!

The Ants Go Marching

The ants go marching one by one, Hoorah! Hoorah!

The ants go marching two by to, Hoorah! Hoorah!

The ants go marching three by three,

the little one stops to climb a tree,

and they all go marching down to the ground, to get out of the rain!

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Repeat with the numbers going up to nine

RHYMES: Little one stops to pick up sticks

Little one stops to check the time......

The ants go marching 10 by 10, Hoorah! Hoorah!

The ants go marching 10 by 10, Hoorah! Hoorah!

The little one stops to say the end!

and they all go marching down to the ground, to get out of the rain!

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!
